Tamannaah Bhatia, born on December 21, 1989, is an Indian actress known for her work primarily in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema. With a career spanning over 80 films, she has garnered accolades such as the Kalaimamani Award, a SIIMA Award, and multiple nominations for Filmfare Awards South.

Her journey in acting commenced with the Hindi film “Chand Sa Roshan Chehra” in 2005. She made her Telugu debut with “Sri” (2005) and Tamil debut with “Kedi” (2006). Notable Telugu films in her repertoire include “Happy Days” (2007), “Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam” (2009), “100% Love” (2011), “Baahubali: The Beginning” (2015), “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” (2017), and more recently, “F3: Fun and Frustration” (2022). In Tamil cinema, she has appeared in films like “Ayan” (2009), “Paiyaa” (2010), “Veeram” (2014), and “Jailer” (2023).

Early Life


Tamanna Bhatia was born on December 21, 1989, in Bombay, Maharashtra. Her parents are Santosh and Rajni Bhatia, and she has an elder brother named Anand Bhatia. Tamannaah is of Sindhi Hindu origin and attended Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School in Mumbai. She started learning acting at the age of 13 and joined Prithvi Theatre for a year, where she participated in stage performances. After gaining initial experience in the film industry, she changed her screen name to “Tamannaah” for numerological reasons.

She began her career with a music video in 2005 and debuted in acting with the Hindi film “Chand Sa Roshan Chehra,” though it didn’t fare well commercially.
